Registered under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1960 as a non-profit organization, TaalSurAangan was founded by Sri Devarao Sindhya, a distinguished tabla artist.

TaalSurAangan is dedicated to promoting the essence of Indian and Western  music while actively engaging in socio-cultural initiatives across the country. These include charity shows, fundraising activities for NGOs, and various social welfare efforts.

The organization also conducts Indian and Western music programs in schools and colleges to create awareness among students about our rich musical heritage. This initiative contributes in making education more holistic and meaningful by emphasizing the abstract, subtle, inspiring, and mystical aspects of life, which will encourage individuals to look within themselves.
